La région OCCITANIE s'engage dans l'économie circulaire avec le recyclage de son patrimoine. La région est propriétaire du lycée Louise MICHEL à Narbonne dont les anciens ateliers vont être démolit en 2027. Dans cet établissement, l'ancien bâtiment 8 (ancien pôle logistique) qui a été construit en 2001 avec une structure métallique galvanisée est en très bon état. La région a donc décidé de déconstruire ce bâtiment, de récupérés tous les matériaux valorisables (Charpente métallique, portes, châssis et bardage) et de les valorisés sur le site de Séverac le château où ils serviront pour la construction du nouveau garage des véhicules de l'équipe ERM 12
