Description of the options: The framework agreement enters into force upon award and ends 24 months after award. Work orders issued before expiry shall be completed under the terms of the agreement. HZI is entitled to extend the term unilaterally, by written notice no later than two months before expiry, twice by up to 12 months in each case, in particular where commissioned studies are delayed or the Go/No-Go decision for SCOPE3 is postponed. The total term shall not exceed four years. The extension does not increase the maximum value of the framework agreement. Any outstanding activities related to commissioned studies, including final reporting, archiving and associated documentation, shall be completed in accordance with the terms of the framework agreement, even if these activities extend beyond its expiry.
