Ειδικότερα έμφαση θα δωθεί αφενός στη δικτυακή υποδομή (ενσύρματη – ασύρματη) και αφετέρου στην ασφάλεια των συστημάτων και στην προστασία των δομών ΠΦΥ από πιθανές κυβερνοεπιθέσεις. Πρόσθετα πεδία ενδιαφέροντος αποτελεί το τηλεφωνικό κέντρο ΠΦΥ, καθώς επίσης η κάλυψη των δομών ΠΦΥ με ασύρματο δίκτυο υψηλής ποιότητας.
