ted-together2025

On 27 and 28 November 2025, the Publications Office of the European Union (OP) organised the second edition of TED-together, an event dedicated to eSender, Reuser, eProcurement Ontology and European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) communities. Participants from all over Europe and beyond joined us in Luxembourg and online to explore topics focussed on TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) and EU Public Procurement data.

Over the two days, discussions centred on recent and upcoming changes facilitating the use of public procurement data and on ways to continuously improve its quality. Franck Noël, Director - Access to and Reuse of Public Information at the Publications Office, opened the meeting by emphasising the OP’s contribution to three important aspects of public procurement – transparency, competition and simplification – through the revision of the Public Procurement Directives, publishing on the TED portal and interoperability with eForms, the ESPD Exchange Model and eProcurement Ontology.

Mr Noël also underlined the importance of improving public procurement practices together as a community: ‘At TED-together, we are aiming to get a step closer to tackling the complexities of e-Procurement TOGETHER.’ OP colleagues and external experts highlighted the growing importance of high-quality data in public procurement, and demonstrated how data, eForms and the eProcurement Ontology enable better publishing, smarter querying and more effective fraud-risk detection. Practical case studies, from implementing the European Single Procurement Document to using the SDK to complete notices, showed how these tools work in practice and support both eSenders and re-users.

A big thank you to all for another successful event! Let us continue to work together towards smarter public procurement!
