Section II: Object
Shuttle Services Respecting the Environment
The objective of the contract deriving from this award procedure is the provision of services relating to suburban and urban road transport of people in Italy (exceptionally Europe), respecting the environment.
The service will be carried out mainly for transport between the EFSA headquarters in Parma and the airports of Milan MXP (36 %) - Linate LIN (21 %), Bologna (33 %) and Bergamo (10 %) and vice versa.
During 2019, the number of single journeys was in the order of 4 500 with about 7 500 people transported. In the years 2020 and 2021, the service was substantially suspended due to COVID and the meetings took place virtually.
Therefore, starting from 2022 it is assumed a reduction in the number of services in the order of 40-50 % compared to 2019.
These data are indicative and cannot be considered binding in relation to the organization of meetings and/or transport services.
EFSA Headquarters, Via Carlo Magno 1, 43126 Parma.
The purpose of this tender is to conclude a framework contract with a maximum duration of four years.
