Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) delivers a range of support services to the Creative Industries through Trade Networks (covering music, screen and broadcast, writing/publishing and crafts/fashion/textiles) as well as the business to business conference and showcase, goNorth.
We will be shortly be undertaking a new procurement exercise for these requirements in which we will be seeking operators with direct industry experience and a strong knowledge of developing creative businesses in a rural setting, to supply business networking activities, advice, training, market intelligence and business opportunities etc.

In advance of the procurement exercise, in order to provide information and capture feedback in relation to this exercise, HIE are holding a Briefing at 2pm on Tuesday 18th February 2014 at our offices at Cowan House, Inverness Business and Retail Park, Inverness, IV2 7GF.
It should be noted that places are restricted to one person per organisation and, depending on numbers, may be restricted.
Therefore, suppliers wishing to attend must register by emailing hieprocurement@hient.co.uk by 12 noon on Friday 14th February at the latest.
However, if suppliers are not able to attend, the presentation and summary notes from the session will be made available via PCS following the Briefing.
It is currently anticipated that the Invitation to Tender for this requirement will be published around the beginning of April 2014.
