This is a proposed new regional framework agreement for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Commercial Catering Equipment. This equipment is used in high output catering areas, primarily in hospital and residential canteens and kitchens.
The type of equipment to be considered includes high output cookers, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, fridges, freezers, servers, refrigerated display units, ice machines and water boilers. Also for consideration is ancillary equipment such as blenders, fryers, boiling kettles, soup wells, slicers, mixers and rotary toasters. This is not an exhaustive list. Items may be added or removed following Pre- Market investigation.

This is a Prior Information Notice to inform the market that BSO Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS) has a requirement for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Commercial Catering Equipment.
PaLS wish to carry out Pre- Market engagement with interested suppliers to investigate the current market conditions, gain product knowledge, assist the Contract Adjudication Group (CAG) with the development of the tender documentation and to ensure existing and future requirements are met.
It is the intention of PaLS to host a Pre- Market engagement meeting on Friday 11.3.2016 in Fern House, Antrim Area Hospital, 45 Bush Road, Antrim, BT41 2RL. Items on the Agenda will include but are not limited to proposed plan for tendering, market conditions, environmental considerations and range of equipment available. There may be a requirement to provide product literature prior to the meeting.

Should you wish to participate you must e-mail Kyle McCauley at kyle.mccauley@hscni.net no later than 12:00 on Wednesday 2.3.2016. Suppliers will be informed of the final arrangements prior to any Pre- Market engagement meeting.

Due to limited places, suppliers are restricted to 2 attendees. The date is subject to change and we reserve the right to arrange alternative engagement meetings with suppliers if required.

All future tender documentation will be made available via the http://etendersni.gov.uk website and potential bidders should register on this website to ensure they have access to tender documentation when the tender is published.
