The successful bidder will be expected to assess critically the outputs from the different systems and to deliver (essentially) data, routines and pieces of numerical code as well as memoranda and reports. The successful bidder will effectively advise the providers of the regional production of CAMS and help define the corresponding development plans. The ITT targets organisations with considerable experience in the field of air quality modelling and data assimilation, who will be able to provide the abovementioned contributions for the continuous upgrade of the individual systems delivering the CAMS regional production. Relevant scientific track record as well as proven technical capabilities to work with advanced modelling tools will be among the selection criteria. Contract duration is 36 months.
ITT CAMS_61 will be a combined procurement of activities that ECMWF previously intended to procure separately (PINs published in 2.2016 with reference CAMS_61 and CAMS_62). This change is to ensure full coordination between the streams of work.
