II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
Following a review of the University's Endowment Investment Policy, the University of Bristol has decided to seek tenders from specialist managers for the management of its endowment portfolio which has a value of approximately 60 000 000 GBP. Potential managers of the portfolio would be expected to invest in line with best practice in terms of corporate governance and the University's Endowment Investment Policy. The University places a premium on the service it receives from its suppliers and the managers of the portfolio would be expected to provide a high quality of service and develop a close working relationship with the University. Potential managers of the portfolio would be expected to have experience of managing funds from charities.
