II.4)Short description of nature and quantity or value of supplies or services:
The Glasgow and Clyde Valley City Deal is an agreement between the UK and Scottish Governments and eight Glasgow and Clyde Valley local authorities to support delivery of; an improved transport network across the Region; key development and regeneration sites; and improved public transport.
Renfrewshire Council's commitments under City Deal includes responsibility for the delivery of the following 2 projects:
— Project 1: The Clyde Waterfront and Renfrew Riverside Project comprises a new lifting road bridge over the River Clyde and the construction of roads, cycling and walking links along with other associated works,
— Project 2 The Glasgow Airport Investment Area Project comprises the realignment of roads, the construction of new roads, bridges and cycle routes along with other associated improvement works.
Renfrewshire Council has identified requirements for external Professional Services to assist the core team delivering both projects described above. It is anticipated that Professional Services will be required to cover a range of activities in relation to feasibility, options appraisal and specimen design however the Council reserves the right to alter this strategy as required.
