VII.1.2 — Text to be corrected in the original notice
Section number II.1.4) Short Description:
Powys County Council wishes to notify that the DPS for the provision of domiciliary care services in the South West Powys Community Area Pilot has now been established. The Council is running a 6 month pilot with a view to establish a DPS which will run for an initial period of 10 years, with an option to be extended for a further 5 years, subject to bi-annual reviews. The DPS is to allow the Council to assemble and maintain an approved list of providers for the provision of domiciliary care. Providers are required to be registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW). The DPS will remain open so new providers can complete the PQQ during the pilot. Subject to a successful pilot in South West Powys Community Area, the DPS will be rolled out to other areas. The DPS and proposed Lots within it:

— domiciliary care, including people with dementia (Town),
— Domiciliary care, including people with dementia (Rural).
DPS shall run for a period of the 6 month pilot until 28.6.2019.
