II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

During the transitional phase aiming at the operational implementation of the CISE by 2020, EMSA may need specialised legal advice and additional support in handling any legal issues concerning the CISE project that may arise. The objective of this call is to contract legal services mainly in the areas of European and international copyright law, European data protection law and European and international IT law as well as in all other areas of EU and national law that might prove to be relevant in the context of the operational implementation of the CISE.

Please note that the planned conclusion of a framework contract is at the time of the publication of this contract notice still subject to the agreement of EMSA’s Administrative Board to the Agency’s involvement in the operational implementation of the CISE as well as to the availability of funds to be provided by the European Commission. Therefore, in the absence of one of the above, the present procurement procedure may be cancelled at any time without the tenderers being entitled to claim any compensation.
