Phase One Stations: Design Services Contracts
High Speed Two (HS2) Limited (“HS2 Ltd”) is responsible for developing and promoting the new high speed railway known as HS2. HS2 will initially run between London and Birmingham (Phase 1) but will subsequently be extended to link Birmingham to Manchester and Leeds (Phase 2).
HS2 Ltd has awarded the Stations Design Services Contracts (SDSC) which are divided into the following 4 Lots:
— London Euston, and
— Old Oak Common.
— Interchange Station, and
— Birmingham Curzon Street.
The scope of Design Services (including base scope and optional scope) was described in the Pre-Qualification Pack (“PQP”) and accompanying Procurement Documents, Applicants/Tenderers were able to express interest in and, if shortlisted, tender for all 4 Lots. However:
(a) a Tenderer was not able to win more than 2 Contracts; and
(b) a Tenderer was not able to win both Southern Lot Contracts.
Procurement for a Design Services Contract for design and other related services in relation to the new HS2 station to be located at London Euston.
HS2 Ltd reserves the right to omit and/or vary the scope of the Contracts and/or require optional scope to be performed.
Old Oak Common

Procurement for a Design Services Contract for design and other related services in relation to the new HS2 Interchange Station.
Birmingham Curzon Street

High Speed Two (HS2) Limited incorporated a minimum ten (10) calendar days standstill period in accordance with Regulation 102 of the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 prior to concluding the award of the contract.
