Developing Planning Skills in NHS Wales
NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership and Welsh Government are seeking proposals to design and deliver a part time post graduate qualification (diploma) in health planning. This programme must be based on the latest research and combine theory, up to date knowledge of the NHS in Wales and the future challenges facing leaders in the public sector in Wales.
It is anticipated a cohort of 125 people will attend the course over 5 years. Participants will all be in a mid to senior level post within the NHS.
NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership and Welsh Government are seeking proposals to design and deliver a part time post graduate qualification in health planning. The programme must be based on the latest research and combine theory, up to date knowledge of the NHS in Wales and the future challenges facing leaders in the public sector in Wales.
In line with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 Procurement Services and Welsh Government wish to hold a Preliminary Market Consultation event prior to launching a procurement procedure for the design and delivery of a part time post graduate qualification in health planning. As such, discussions will be held with suppliers prior to starting a procurement procedure, the purpose being to both inform suppliers and to allow Procurement Services and Welsh Government to seek advice in the planning and conduct of the procurement procedure. Procurement Services and Welsh Government will run the Preliminary Market Consultation at the All Nations Centre, Cardiff on Friday 27th April at 10:30. Potential bidders will be provided with further insight into the requirement and given the opportunity to ask questions. In order to help define the requirement and develop the contract’s requirement, following the presentation/ Q and A session, potential bidders will have an opportunity to present to the Planning Academy Panel (maximum 10 minute allocated slot).

In your confirmation you should detail the names of the individuals/position that would be undertaking the presentation. Please Note: a projector screen, projector and laptop will be made available therefore bidders should ensure that their presentation is saved on a memory stick.
