Cloud Migration Framework
NWL wish to appoint cloud migration partners to move their existing on-premise estate to Public Cloud. The transformed estate is referred to as the Future Mode of Operation (FMO). Having already appointed public cloud vendors (Microsoft Azure and Oracle Public Cloud), NWL wish to set up a framework of 2 Migration Partners for Microsoft Azure and 3 Migration Partners for Oracle Public Cloud.
NWL envisage cloud migration to be an incremental “wave” approach delivering early value, whilst being prepared to change along the way according to prevailing business benefits, technical complexities and new cloud features.

The period of any contract(s) resulting from this procurement will be 24 months from the contract start date.
The length of the contract may be extended by negotiation with the supplier for a further 24 months and a further 24 months beyond that. The maximum term of this contract is therefore 6 years.
Estimated contract value is given over the maximum contract term of 6 years.
The two highest scoring bidders, in accordance with the award criteria given above, will be awarded a place on the framework.
In addition, the highest scoring bidder will be awarded the initial wave of applications to be migrated.
Ongoing work under this framework will be subject to mini-competition between the 2 parties on the framework.

The three highest scoring bidders, in accordance with the award criteria given above, will be awarded a place on the framework.

There is a requirement within the PQQ documents to evidence some industry recognised partnership with the relevant Public Cloud Vendors
Payment terms are 45 days from receipt of invoice.

Applicants are asked to note that this procurement process will be conduced electronically with all documents and communication being managed through the Northumbrian Water e-Sourcing Spend Management portalcalled “Ariba”.
Expressions of interest must be sent to the e-mail address email@example.com before the deadline date of the 10.4.2019. Once expression of interest has been received that contains the details below, applicants will be given access to the Ariba portal within 48 hours of the request. This portal will contain all the tender documents associated with this procurement that are available at the time. An email link will also be provided to the email address you provide to access the portal. The deadline for return of the completed PQQ is the 24.4.2019 at 12:00 noon.
When sending expression of interest, applicants must provide the following information:
1) Full company name;
2) Main contact details of the person who will be given access to the Ariba portal — name, job title, E mail address and telephone number.
