Responsive Repairs, Void Property Works and Out of Hours Emergency Works; Eastern Scotland; Joint Procurement
Framework agreement for responsive repairs and void works to residential housing stock owned by Trust Housing Association and Bield Housing and Care. These two registered social landlords have similar housing stock, primarily elderly care with a smaller number of general needs properties located in Eastern Scotland. The successful contractor will enter into two separate contracts, one with each client. The contracts are not interdependent.
The full requirements of this framework and the contracts to be placed from it are set out in the DRAFT tender documents and these should be read carefully before deciding to complete the ESPD.
It is the client bodies intention that two contractors will be appointed to the framework. The first placed contractor will be awarded all of the works initially, however if at any time there is a failure of performance the second placed contractor will be called upon to carry out a proportion of the works. Should it be necessary to end the first placed contractor’s contract(s) earlier than intended the second placed contractor shall be appointed to take over the entire contract(s). Initially only the first placed contractor will be required to provide the IT integration requirement, which is a condition precedent to being awarded the contract.
Option to add further properties to the contracts in the event of additional property acquisitions.
Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
