II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

The EEA intends to establish a framework service contract for the provision of security, reception and internal mail services and maintenance of security installations. The EEA premises are situated in 2 buildings on Kongens Nytorv 6 (KN6) and Kongens Nytorv 8 (KN8), 1050 Copenhagen K, DENMARK, linked together through corridors on the ground and first floors. The total surface of the premises is approximately 9 900 m2. Currently, approximately 220 persons are working at the EEA.

The EEA has an access control/burglary alarm and a RVS system in place that shall be maintained by the contracted service provider. An automatic fire alarm shall be maintained by the contracted service provider through Dansk Brandteknik A/S. Annex 7 to the tender specifications provides a detailed description of the security systems and equipment.
Section 6.2 of the tender specifications provides further details on the tasks to be performed.

The framework service contract will be awarded for an initial period of 12 months, starting from the date of signature, and it may be renewed up to a maximum of 3 times for a period of 12 months each.
