The Natural History Museum is looking to tour 1 of its large specimens around the UK. In order to facilitate this, we require the construction of a specialist modular armature and associated items to support the specimen on tour, along with storage items and other sundries.
Tenderers will need to provide at least 3 case studies describing the successful completion of a similar type of project, involving working with large specimens as well as heritage locations and facilitating a touring schedule.
The final contract will incorporate a fee for the design and manufacture of an armature, plinth, barrier and other items to support a touring exhibition around the UK of a large dinosaur cast specimen. This will also include the de-install/removal of the existing armature as well as associated packaging and crates for storage.
