De opdracht betreft het ontwerpen, monitoren, installeren en het in stand houden van een monitoringsysteem ten behoeve van de toerit van de open tunnelbak van de Sophiaspoortunnel.

Doel van de monitoring van verplaatsing van de tunnelbak is het vroegtijdig inzichtelijk maken van verplaatsingen van de tunnelbak in x,y,z richting waardoor er tijdig maatregelen genomen kunnen worden om veilig treinverkeer te borgen. De invloed van werkzaamheden (in ieder geval de grond- en waterbelastende werkzaamheden) vanuit het RWS project op de open toerit is groot, waardoor de functionaliteit, beschikbaarheid en veilige berijdbaarheid voor het goederenvervoer door de tunnel in het geding kan komen.
