II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
The construction of up to 200 social housing units complete with engineering services, external and site development works on Lands at Galliagh South of Skeoge Link Road and Adjacent to the Lower Galliagh Road, Derry/Londonderry. The contracting authority will enter into a contract with the Successful Economic Operator for the delivery of section 1A with the option to appoint the same contractor to complete sections 1B and 1C which will be included in the overall tender submission. The appointment of the Economic Operator for any and all sections will be subject to planning and government department approval.
Breakdown of the possible sections is as follows:
Section 1A- 118 Nr Dwellings
Section 1B - 50 Nr Dwellings
Section 1C - 29 Nr Dwellings
The contract period is estimated at 23 months commencing December 2014.

Description of particular conditions: The project will be subject to the Contracting Authority obtaining full planning approval and obtaining project approval and grant funding from the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (DPG) for this project.
