The University of Leeds is conducting a competitive procurement under the restricted process applicable under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 to appoint a number of professional consultants to a professional services consultancy Framework Agreement for construction related services. The professional services are required in relation to the University's capital investment programme for works on projects with a value of over 2 000 000 GBP.

Mechanical and Electrical Services Engineering and Chartered Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Services (Potential Suppliers must hold Chartered status of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) or The Association for Consultancy and Engineering, (ACE) or equivalent professional body for the profession.

Where the professional body provides for company designation, the Lead Engineer should individually be a fully qualified member of the professional body. Assistant Engineers should be members of the professional body.

Lot 2: Civil and Structural Engineer Services

Where the professional body (IStructE or ICE or equivalent) provides for company designation, each company should hold the qualified status.

Where the professional body provides for individual designation, the lead engineer/professional should individually be a fully qualified member of the professional body. Assistant engineers should be members of the professional body.

Lot 3: Architects Services

Where the professional body (RIBA or equivalent) provides for company designation, each company should hold the qualified status.

Where the professional body provides for individual designation, the lead architect/professional should individually be a fully qualified member of the professional body. Assistant architects should be members of the professional body.

Lot 4: Project Manager Services:

Where the professional body (APM or RICS or equivalent) provides for company designation, each company should hold the qualified status.

Lead Project Managers should individually be a fully qualified member of the APM or the RICS, or acceptable equivalent. Assistant PMs should be members of the professional body.

Lot 5: Quantity surveyor and cost consultant services:

Each company should hold (RICS or equivalent) status as companies.

Lead cost consultants should individually be a fully qualified member of the RICS, or acceptable equivalent. Assistant cost consultants should be members of the professional body.
