This call for tender is for the provision of services to assist and support the work of the EU EU Platform on Coexistence between People and Large Carnivores. The objective of the Platform is to facilitate exchanges of views and experiences among different stakeholders, to find and promote agreed solutions to conflicts related to large carnivores. The contractor will act as the Secretariat of the Platform, assisting its members in the implementation of the agreed actions. The contractor will provide text (in Word document) for updates on the website on the EU platform on coexistence between people and large carnivores http://ec.europa.eu/environment/nature/conservation/species/carnivores/coexistence_platform.htm

The contractor will organize one annual plenary meeting of one day of the Platform. The contractor will work directly with the members and will assist them with the organisation of the regional workshops and other ad-hoc meetings.

In line with Article 134.1.e) and f) of the rules of Application to the Financial Regulation nº 2015/1929 of 30.10.2015, during the 3 years following conclusion of the original contract, the Contracting Authority will be able to use the negotiated procedure for additional services (without prior publication of a contract notice) for new services or works consisting in the repetition of similar services or works entrusted to the economic operator to which the same Contracting Authority awarded an original contract, provided that these services or works are in conformity with a basic project for which the original contract was awarded after publication of a contract notice, subject to the conditions set out in Paragraph 4 of Article 134.

Please note this was previously published in the PIN OJ S 44 — 079856 on 3.3.2017 with the title “Technical support for an EU platform on large carnivores”.
