The contract's objective is to support JRC Seville with product specific expertise and life cycle assessment capabilities that support the revision of the existing EU Ecolabel criteria, as established in Commission Decision of 9.7.2009 establishing the ecological criteria for the award of the Community eco-label to hard coverings (2009/607/EC), Commission Decision of 2.5.2014 establishing the ecological criteria for the award of the EU Ecolabel for converted paper products (2014/256/EU) and Commission Decision of 16.8.2012 establishing the ecological criteria for the award of the EU Ecolabel for printed paper (2012/481/EU) for the product group under consideration.
