The Audiovisual Unit of the European Parliament is planning to award a public contract for the supply of Broadcast equipment and associated services for renewal of the audiovisual infrastructure in Strasbourg and Brussels.

There are 4 separate lots:

— lot 1: Broadcast infrastructure and associated services for audiovisual production,

— lot 2: Extension of the existing IP infrastructure and control system, network equipment, and associated services for the audiovisual production,

— lot 3: Video server, storage, editing suites and associated services for audiovisual production,

— lot 4: Dismantling and moving of equipment, additional cabling and associated services for the audiovisual infrastructure.

The audiovisual service would like to renew its audiovisual infrastructure in Strasbourg and Brussels to achieve the following objectives:

— improve its production facilities,

— modernise its production methods and workflows.

The new systems shall be integrated with the current systems.

This lot applies to the extension of an existing IP infrastructure plus Command and Control layer. The tenderer shall ensure the compatibility of the system he will propose with the existing system and equipment already in place.

In particular, the tenderer will focus on extending the Command and Control infrastructure in line with the existing equipment in the European Parliament, and ensure software evolution of existing versions to ensure a coherence with the existing functionalities.
