The study shall provide detailed information on the impact on defence of the 5 EU Chemical Regulations, as well as their interactions/consistency with REACH and CLP and between them, towards a more consistent approach in overall EU legislation for chemicals, for defence stakeholders, aiming among others:
• to address defence specificities (exemptions/exclusions/etc.) as foreseen in the legal texts of the Regulations;
• to assess the impact of the Regulations on defence, and to develop recommendations for related mitigation actions;
• to support avoiding in the future undesired regulatory outcomes impacting defence in multi-regulation situations (e.g. regrettable substitution of chemical substance).
