In anticipation of successful funding applications for major road improvement schemes, South Tyneside Council, wishes to establish a single supplier contractor framework.
Although no guarantees can be provided, the value of works to be placed via the framework is anticipated to be in the range 15 000 000-20 000 000 GBP. Over the next 3-4 years there could be up to 4 schemes consisting of major junction and highway improvements. Each project may incorporate elements of new carriageway and footpath construction, local and major drainage works, utility diversions, retaining structures and other ancillary works.
Market Engagement: We would like to consult with potential providers of these works regarding this future procurement. Please note that participation in this consultation or registration of interest will not give any advantage in this procurement opportunity, but is purely an opportunity to potentially shape the requirements. We will consult with all interested parties to get views and comments on the planned approach to market. Your responses will help to inform the procurement. We are sorry but we cannot guarantee that all views expressed will be taken into account. The consultation will consist of the completion of a Supplier Engagement Questionnaire (SEQ). If not already registered, you must register as a supplier on the NEPO ProContract system to access the SEQ via the following link — http://www.nepoportal.org
