II.4)Short description of nature and scope of works
Efficiency North (EN) is a social housing regeneration consortium based in the Yorkshire and Humberside region. EN is a collaboration of social housing providers who procure collaboratively in the construction markets in order to deliver sustainable savings and regeneration in the member's communities. Together with Procure Plus (PP), EN form the Re:allies partnership - a strategic collaboration between two housing consortia who bring together unmatched experience in building, regenerating and managing sustainable homes. Further additional consortia may join the Re:allies alliance from time to time. Further background information can also be obtained by visiting
EN wish to alert the market to its intention to procure a framework agreement for the completion of installation and repair works to social housing properties. The framework agreement will offer contractors of all sizes the opportunity to tender to complete a wide variety of works predominantly in a domestic setting across the Humberside, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire Regions.
It is envisaged that the following contracting authorities will be entitled to agree call off contracts under the proposed framework agreement as and when required –
1. EN's members (both current and future) and
2. Any partner, customer or member of the Re:allies alliance from time to time, which may include any social housing provider in the United Kingdom. Social housing provider for this purpose means any provider of social housing and includes registered housing providers, local authorities, local government ALMOs and unitary authorities. EN are hosting a series of events entitled ‘Tendering for Success' whereby contractors can learn more about the proposed framework agreement, and, crucially, how they can maximise their chances of success in the forthcoming procurement. It will also be an opportunity to meet key members of the Re:allies and Efficiency North team.
The events are scheduled to take place across the region and on the following dates –
