DFMR is the Authority to ensure that CFP rules for EU fisheries management are applied in order to better manage the fishing fleet and to conserve fish stocks. Since current systems have and lack of a comprehensive system functionality and integration, DFMR will procure a Tender for the development of a Fisheries Management System to ensure:
1) Effective implementation of the regulations concerning fishing activities;
2) Collection and validation of fisheries data electronically;
3) Effectively cross-check data that record fishing activities;
4) Exchange fisheries control data with other member states, third country, the European Commission and any other organization, etc.
