JRC Petten is planning procurement of a universal table top uniaxial tensile testing machine driven by a linear motor to conduct material testing on structural materials. The equipment shall allow performing strain or force controlled material tests such as tensile, compression tests, fatigue, fracture toughness tests and small punch tests at ambient temperatures and optionally at high and sub-zero temperatures.
