Service contract for Information Materials on Nature and Biodiversity
The purpose of this tender is to produce communication materials - printed, web and for social media, aiming to support stakeholders and the interested public in finding more specific information on implementation of the EU biodiversity policy, including issues related to Natura 2000, species protection, the value of ecosystem services, invasive species and others.
The specific tasks of the contractor are summarised as follows:
— production of the Natura 2000 Newsletter twice a year,
— production of other information materials upon request (leaflets, posters, info sheets, content for press releases, content for web based communication tools),
— preparation of visual content materials for social media (such as infographics, original illustrations, photos, etc.) for dissemination via DG ENV social media channels - at least 1 per month,
— update of Nature and Biodiversity website upon requests,
— networking and cooperation.
The contract is renewable 2 times (total 36 months), 170 000 EUR per year renewable twice (total budget therefore 510 000 EUR). Open call for tender- Service contract.
This was previously published in the PIN OJ 2017/S 044-079856 on 03.03.2017 with the title 'Information material on nature and biodiversity'. The contract is renewable twice, the price per year is 161 900 EUR, the total amount including renewals is 485 700 EUR.

In line with Article 134.1.e) and f) of the Rules of Application to the Financial Regulation nº 2015/1929 of 30.10.2015, during the 3 years following conclusion of the original contract, the contracting authority will be able to use the negotiated procedure for additional services (without prior publication of a contract notice) for new services or works consisting in the repetition of similar services or works entrusted to the economic operator to which the same contracting authority awarded an original contract, provided that these services or works are in conformity with a basic project for which the original contract was awarded after publication of a contract notice, subject to the conditions set out in paragraph 4 of Article 134.

You may submit any observations concerning the award procedure to the contracting authority indicated under Heading I.1.
If you believe that there was maladministration, you may lodge a complaint to the European Ombudsman within two years of the date when you became aware of the facts on which the complaint is based (see http:// www.ombudsman.europa.eu ). Such complaint does not have as an effect either to suspend the time-limit to launch an appeal or to open a new period for lodging an appeal.
Within two months of the notification of the award decision you may lodge an appeal to the body referred to in VI.4.1.
