The purpose of this framework contract is to provide language training in 4 official languages of the European Union — English, French, German and Spanish — to the staff of the European Commission at their offices in Grange, Dunsany, County Meath, Ireland (45 km north-west of Dublin, approx. 8 km from Trim and 25 km from Navan).

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
Teaching of face-to-face language courses by native-speaker teachers in person, on the Commission's premises in County Meath, Ireland. Each language is to be taught up to a maximum of 12 different levels, depending on the level of the participants, and based on the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Each level will be of 66 hours duration comprising weekly classes of 2 hours per class from October to June, followed by 2 weeks of semi-intensive courses (2 hours per day) in August. The organisation of placement tests to evaluate a learner's language profile so as to place them in a course at an appropriate level is also required.
