This procurement invites tenders from interested parties to provide investment management services to the Merseyside Pension Fund (the 'Fund') for the management of a portfolio of European (ex-UK) equity assets.
The allocation of the mandate is 5,5 % of the Fund (as at 31.12.2013, the Fund was valued at GBP 5,9 bn) which is currently managed by two managers. It is envisaged that the mandate will be split between 2 or more managers.
The contract is initially for 5 years starting on 1.8.2014, with the option to extend for up to a further 5 years (subject at all times to LGPS requirements over terminations).
