Montrose Playhouse — Conversion of Pool into Arts Hub and Cinema
Conversion of former Montrose Swimming Pool into Montrose Playhouse — A new arts hub and 3 screen cinema, which includes a bar/cafe, kitchen, box office, community rooms, external works and general fit out of building for conversion works.

Montrose Playhouse Project group require suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provide main contractor services for the delivery of a conversion project from a former swimming pool into a three-screen cinema and art centre.
To be discussed and agreed between all parties if requested.

A summary of the expected community benefits has been provided as follows:
Tenderer must agree to secure the creation of training opportunities and/or work experience placements in connection with The Montrose Playhouse Project build, to a total of four training places (approx. 35 hrs/wk for the full term of contract) in accordance with MPP economic development activities. The contractor will set out in their submission, a service delivery plan/method statement satisfactory to MPP, concerning how they will generate training and work experience opportunities. Employment of trainees/placements should be open to applicants in Angus only.
