The Construction of Inverness West Link Stage 2 comprising approx. 800 m of 7,3 m wide single carriageway road with shared use footways, a new roundabout, an A82 underpass, a swing bridge over the Caledonian Canal and associated M&E, wharf, pontoons and a jetty, canal/road traffic control system, drainage, earthworks, fencing and walls, landscaping, new access tracks/paths, road lighting, traffic and variable message signing and the installation of new services and supplies.

As per II.1.4) Short description.

The form of Contract will be NEC4 ECC Option A priced contract with Activity schedule.

Applicants should note that there is a specific requirement stated in the Contract, to take account of the need for collaboration and cooperation with the Client and/or the Designer's sub-consultant and others, with respect to the development and implementation of the software related element of the tandem Bridge control system and associated interfaces, such as the controls for the CCTV, wig-wags, VMS, barriers and public address systems. The timing constraints, notice periods, interfaces and phasing requirements will be stated within the scope, for incorporation within the Contractor's programme and it will be beneficial if applicants were able to demonstrate previous relevant experience of similar collaborations with third parties.

The Works are anticipated to commence in May 2019.

Bidders will be required to have a minimum "general" yearly turnover of 24 000 000 GBP for the last 3 financial years.

Bidders may be required to confirm the values for the following financial ratios as stated in the ESPD:

— Solvency Ratio,

— Contract limit is expected to be a minimum of twice the estimated contract value.

Bidders are required to hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BSEN ISO 9001 (or equivalent).

Bidders are required to provide details of their Health and safety policy.

— HSE Improvement Notices — in the last 3 years,

— HSE Prohibition Notices — in the last 3 years,

— HSE Convictions — in the last 5 years,
