Demand Side Management, Social Infrastructures and Renewable Energy Expansion (DESIREE) — Programme Management Support
The overall objective of DESIREE programme is to foster sustainable and inclusive socio-economic growth in selected partner countries and develop sustainable business models for the provision of clean, climate-friendly and energy efficient solutions. The programme will support the development of an enabling environment, will implement capacity building support and technical assistance to key actors and provide blended finance to support innovative business models and realise sustainable investments with private sector participation. The programme will contribute to energy savings, improved access to clean energy, job creation, improve health and education outcomes, raise productivity, reduce indoor and outdoor air pollution and promote financial inclusion.
The present assignment concerns the programme management throughout the 5-year implementation period of the DESIREE.
The consultant will perform the tasks mainly from its own offices, with occasional travels to Luxembourg and to the selected countries.

The duration of the contract shall be 54 months, with the possibility of one or several extensions consisting of maximum 24 additional months (maximum 78 months in total); and
The value of the contract is maximum EUR 2 500 000 with the possibility of one or several increases for additional services consisting of maximum EUR 1 000 000 (maximum EUR 3 500 000 in total).
