The overall objective of DESIREE programme is to foster sustainable and inclusive socio-economic growth in selected partner countries and develop sustainable business models for the provision of clean, climate-friendly and energy efficient solutions. The programme will support the development of an enabling environment, will implement capacity building support and technical assistance to key actors and provide blended finance to support innovative business models and realise sustainable investments with private sector participation. The programme will contribute to energy savings, improved access to clean energy, job creation, improve health and education outcomes, raise productivity, reduce indoor and outdoor air pollution and promote financial inclusion.
The present assignment concerns the programme management throughout the 5-year implementation period of the DESIREE.
