II.4)Short description of nature and quantity or value of supplies or services:
Aim of THALEA is to create a Telemedical control-centre software for tele-ICUs capable of capturing workflow-data, physiologic parameters, laboratory results and current medication in order to set up a robust real-time analysis tool enabling telemedical ICU-staff to monitor and oversee an entire ICU patient population. Our goal is to support identification of patients at risk of prolonged ICU stay, organ dysfunction, or death.
By means of this call and in order to provide a link between different PDMS of ICUs, a prototypical product will be developed. It should function comparable to a pilot's cockpit, which provides a condensed view of patient data present on the ICU. A special feature of this product will be an automatic detection of critical ill patients, by reviewing their data without any interruption. An automatic pre-alarm will notify professional care givers in case of emergencies.
PCP-Process is conducted in 3 phases:
In phase I, pre-selected suppliers participate in a competitive presentation of product design.
In phase II, top three proposals will be selected to be developed and presented as a prototype.
In phase III, a pre-production model has to be developed.
