Balsfjord Municipality has decided that a new school for 1st -10th years is to be constructed in Mestervik. The new school, with the accompanying sports area, is designed for 120 pupils and 16 educational staff.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

A turnkey contract will be procured for the development and construction of Mestervik School.

To ensure good solutions, satisfied users and the best possible utilisation of competence, the contracting authority wants to prepare a preliminary project in cooperation with the contractor and consultants and architect. The turnkey contractor with his organisation, consultants, contractors and suppliers, will be responsible for all necessary engineering design services in collaboration with the contracting authority. This phase shall try to optimise the project as regards quality and solutions within the stipulated cost limit. The project is divided into 3 phases. The aim is that at the end of the project development phase (Phases 1 and 2), the parties will be in agreement about the solution, completion deadline and price of the implementation phase (Phase 3). Phase 3 is, as a starting point, regulated as an ordinary turnkey contract with the necessary adaptation for the chosen remuneration model.

The total gross area for the school project is estimated to be approx. 2 260 m2 gross.
