Development at 209-213 Hanworth Road, Hounslow
LocatED is procuring a development partner on behalf of the secretary of state for education to deliver a mixed-use education and residential led development opportunity at 209-213 Hanworth Road, Hounslow, London (the ‘Site’).
The Site was acquired with a clear objective to support the Government’s priorities of delivering both schoolplaces and new homes. It offers a fantastic opportunity to deliver this vision and we are keen to secure a development partner who shares our ambition.
The Site is 2.72 acres (1.1 ha) located in the London Borough (LB) of Hounslow. The Site is identified as a strategic site by LocatED to deliver educational and residential uses. The Site has excellent transport links to central London and Heathrow and is LocatED close to Hounslow town centre.
An indicative masterplan has been prepared by LocatED’s project team. This comprises:
1) a special educational needs (SEN) school for up to 90 pupils aged 11 to 19,
2) circa 115 homes, and
3) associated infrastructure, parking and landscaping.
LocatED is procuring a development partner to deliver a mixed-use educational and residential development on the Site at Hanworth Road, Hounslow.
