The existing Stalac – Djunis section 18.7km single track section on the railway line Belgrade – Niš. The project is located in central-south Serbia, about 200 km south-east of Belgrade.
II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
Developing design for obtaining the building permit with positive technical control report issued by technical control reviewer appointed by contracting authority, developing detailed design for the Works, developing as-built design in accordance with Serbian law and reconstruction and modernization of the existing track and construction of a second track on the railway section Stalac – Djunis, 17.1 km long to double track and speeds of 160km/h.
The required Works will be carried out in accordance with FIDIC Conditions of contract for Plant and Design-Build for Electrical and Mechanical Works Designed by the Contractor (Yellow Book), First Edition 1999.The required Works shall include works on permanent way, buildings and structures in two railway stations (Stalac and Djunis), construction of bridges, viaduct, overpass, underpasses, construction of four tunnels, construction of culverts, passenger underpasses, retaining walls, noise protection barriers, relocation of local roads and one state road, construction of access roads, hydro-technical works, power supply facilities and installations, signalling and interlocking facilities and devices, telecoms, mechanical installations in stations and tunnels, traffic signalization and equipment.
