II.1.4)Short description of the contract or purchase(s):
Subject of the Procurement is construction of HPP Vranduk on river Bosna and it includes the –design, manufacturing, supply and installation of equipment, testing and commissioning. It has been designed with an operating capacity of about 20 MW of installed power, produced by three Kaplan turbine generator units. HPP Vranduk consists of the following main components:
- A new dam with a small generating unit, a fish ladder and a gate storage chamber;
- An intake structure upstream on the left river bank;
- A power tunnel on the left side of the river upstream from the dam site between the intake structure and the powerhouse;
- A surge shaft;
- A powerhouse, control building, assembly plateau and switchgear building downstream at the end of the power tunnel;
- Water storage reservoir, 6 km long;
- New access roads and reconstructed existing roads
- A tailrace between the powerhouse and the downstream riverbed;
- Deepening of the downstream riverbed between the Bosna IV bridge and the village of Nemila (approximately 2.5 km);
- Temporary cofferdams for the construction of the dam (in two phases) and of the powerhouse, as well as for allowing the connection of the intake structure to the power tunnel.

The most economically advantageous tender in terms of:
Performance and productivity of the equipment offered ussing following formulas:
1) WTE = The Weighted Efficiency of the hydraulic Turbine, [%]
2) WGE = The Weighted Efficiency of the Generator, [%]
3) RTE = The Transformer Efficiency at rated load, [%].
The reference value for efficiencies comparison is the arithmetic average of the values given in all tenders (WTEAVE WGEAVE, RTEAVE ).
For instance, if the tenders number is n:
WTEAVE = (WTE1 + WTE2 + … + WTEn ) / n [%]
WGEAVE = (WGE1 + WGE2 + … + WGEn ) / n [%]
RTEAVE = (RTE1 + RTE2 + … + RTEn ) / n [%]
The adjustment cost (ΔAC ) for the increase (decrease) of the tender Price is calculated as follows:
ΔAC = ΔTU + ΔGEN + ΔTRA
The total Evaluated Tender Price shall include the following items:
• ΔTU = (WTEAVE - WTE) [%] * 5/1.5 * TTP [M Euro], where TTP = Total Price of Turbine, Inlet Valve and Governors supply, in M Euro
• ΔGEN = (WGEAVE - WGE) [%] * 5 * TGP [M Euro], where TGP = Total Price of Generator Supply, in M Euro
• ΔTRA = (RPT [kVA] * (RTEAVG - RTE) [%] * 5000 [Euro/kVA]) / 106 = (RTEAVG - RTE) [%] * 62.5 [M Euro], where RPT = Rated Power Transformer in kVA = 12500 kVA
