The project aims to involve actors from civil society in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing, recognising the role that they can play in bringing about more transparency. To empower them to take up this role, the project will first boost their capacity. In a second phase, it will build on the knowledge of academics and the experience of practitioners to provide inputs on risks deriving from opaque ownership structures and ways to remedy them. Finally, local events will act as multipliers.
