ECMWF/ITT/2019/BOND16 Procurement of electricity
The purpose of this Invitation to Tender (ITT) is for ECMWF to enter into a contract for the supply, of Green Energy to support the whole ECMWF's facility at Tecnopolo di Bologna, Via Stalingrado, Bologna, Italy from late 2019 onwards.

The scope of this ITT will include:
— 18 month supply of Green Energy at ECMWF’s facility at Tecnopolo di Bologna,
— provision of a contract example compliant with ECMWF,
— provision of customer support services,
— provision of monthly invoicing and reporting related to Green Energy consumption and any additional cost components.
For the purpose of this contract, ECMWF will be acting through its establishment on the territory of the Italian Republic, the ECMWF Data Centre in Bologna (Italian fiscal code No 91148050684), temporarily located at ECMWF, Viale Angelo Masini 12/14, Office No 622/6th floor, Bologna, 40126, Italy; (ECMWF; the Centre).

The selection process will be in two stages. Initial stage will shortlist a number of tenderers which will be invited to take part in a reverse e-Auction for the energy price on 1.8.2019. Log in details to an e-Auction platform will be distributed in advance to the shortlisted tenderers only.

The procurement for the contract will be conducted in accordance with ECMWF's procedures as set out in ECMWF's invitation to tender documents, which are available on ECMWF's eProcurement Portal (https://procurement.ecmwf.int/) and no other procedures will apply. In submitting this notice ECMWF does not waive the privileges and immunities granted to it by virtue of its status as an intergovernmental organisation or submit itself to any jurisdiction.
Tenders must be submitted using ECMWF's eProcurement Portal. Hard copy (paper) submissions will not be accepted. Suppliers must register their organisation on the eProcurement Portal to be able to access the ITT documents and to be able to submit a response to any ITTs.
