This means that for Phase 1 (and possibly all or part of Phase 0 if included within Phase 1) and Phase 2 of the Chester Northgate development, the Successful Bidder will enter into a pre-construction services agreement (‘PCSA’) for both Phases and will enter into individual building contracts for each of Phase 1 (and possibly all or part of Phase 0 if included within Phase 1) and Phase 2.
Execution of each building contract will be subject to acceptable development of the design by the Successful Bidder for the relevant Phase, cost certainty being achieved for the relevant Phase and acceptable performance by the contractor. The building contract(s) will take the form of an amended JCT Design and Build 2016 contract.
