II.4)Short description of nature and quantity or value of supplies or services:
Crown Commercial Service as the Contracting Authority is putting in place a Pan Government Collaborative FM Assurance Services (Help-desk and CAFM) Framework Agreement for use by UK public sector bodies (and any future successors to these organisations), which include Central Government Departments and their Arm's Length Bodies and Agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies, NHS bodies and Local Authorities.
The above Public Sector Bodies require a Framework Agreement that consists of a single supplier for an FM Assurance Services (Help-desk and CAFM) function via the use of a Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system that enables the effective management of operational and strategic activities associated with FM related services.
Services to be delivered under this Framework Agreement include but are not limited to:
A Helpdesk function — The supplier shall provide a fully staffed, supervised Help-desk service linked to the CAFM System for all FM related Service Requests and fault reporting, 24 hours per day 365 days per year;
CAFM System — The supplier shall provide a CAFM System. The Supplier shall ensure that all managerial, quality monitoring, complaints, Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance activities are managed, executed and monitored through the CAFM System;
Reporting — The supplier shall provide a reporting function that includes but is not limited to the reporting of facilities management suppliers' performance and requested Management Information; and
FM Assurance Service — The supplier shall supply an oversight function which monitors and reports against the operational performance of facilities management suppliers delivering services on behalf of the Contracting Body.
Please note that the estimated value detailed below is only indicative. Details of the estimated value will be specified within the OJEU notice that will be published at the commencement of the award procedure.

Please note that Crown Commercial Service released PIN (ref: 241692-2013-EN) on 19.7.2013 with a corrigendum (ref: 2013/S 201-347874) dated 16.10.2013 in relation to the Facilities Management Services Framework Agreement (RM1056).

This PIN is to establish the FM Assurance Services (Helpdesk and CAFM) Framework Agreement (RM3720). The requirements of this Framework Agreement was originally Lot 4 of the Facilities Management Services Framework Agreement (RM1056). Therefore this Framework Agreement (RM3720) is a separate requirement that covers the original requirement of Lot 4 of RM1056.
The procurement for the FM Assurance Services (Helpdesk and CAFM) Framework Agreement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Service's e-Sourcing Suite. To participate in this forthcoming procurement, suppliers must first be registered on the e-Sourcing Suite.
