Section II: Object of the design contest/description of the project

II.1)Description
II.1.1)Title attributed to the design contest/project by the contracting authority/entity:
Pilot project: Unmanned cleaning and rinsing of a tunnel basin — Invitation to participate in a dialogue conference.
II.1.2)Short description:
Drinking water basin and tunnels in rock must be regularly cleaned. In order to save costs for securing the rock with a view to safety for the cleaning personnel we would like to develop an unmanned system. The system shall, if possible, have further functionality as described in the tender documentation. The contracting authority does not currently have plans to procure the system, but would like to start the development work, the facilitation of testing and aims to be able to procure services based on the developed system at a later date.

IV.3)Criteria to be applied in the evaluation of projects:
The assessment and winning criteria are the criteria that the jury shall emphasise. A total assessment of the proposals in accordance with the criteria will decide which of the qualified tenderers will receive a prize and how much of the total prize will be awarded to the winners.
The following winning criteria have been chosen in this competition, given in order of priority:
1. Functionality — breadth in the function areas and usability
2. Feasibility/realism in the project description, both technically and in terms of time. As regards the time aspect in this criteria, reference is made to the estimated time frame described in point 2.3 in this document.
3. Pollution safety — prevention of/protection from drinking water pollution.
4. Reliability — prevention of/protection from unwanted operational stoppages.
