All parties interested in receiving the Airport Right(s) for self-handling related to the aforementioned services are invited to participate in the following process:
Applicants are requested to submit an application letter in a sealed envelope until 30 August 2021 by 15.00 hours (local time). The letter should carry the indication ‘Application letter for the Selection of Into-Plane Fuel Handling Services for Self-handlers at Athens International Airport’ and should be addressed to the AIA Procurement Department, to the attention of Mr. Spiros Lountzis, Administration Building (17), 190 19 Spata, Greece.
Following the submission of the application letter, the applicants will be notified in writing to receive the RfA documents with additional information related to the content of the relevant services in order to develop their operational and business plans as requested in AIA's Local Ground Handling Regulation (Access Conditions paragraph 5a) and provide information for evaluation as per the relevant criteria set in Article 8 par. b.i of the same.
Only applications submitted by the aforementioned date will be considered by AIA for evaluation.
All correspondence, applications and documents required, should be conducted in English. However, documentation related to the pre-requisites of Article 4 of the Basic Ground Handling Regulation should be in both English and Greek languages.
Applicants may be requested to supply additional information and to attend interviews.
AIA reserves the right not to proceed with the contract at any stage of the Application process.
Renewal is at AIA's sole option and subjects to specific conditions and approvals as further specified in the RfA documents.
The contract will be subject to Greek Law.
