Supply of Beam Loss Detection with High Sensitivity
The procedure concerns the supply of high sensitivity beam loss monitors including its electronics and its cabling. The scope of the work encompasses the procurement of the hardware, the calibration of the beam loss monitors and the factory acceptance tests. The supply of spare beam loss monitors, the transportation to accelerator site (Rokkasho, Japan) and the onsite support are options in the contract.

2) This procurement procedure is governed by the rules laid down by:
(a) Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2018/1046 (‘the General Financial Regulation’); and
(b) complemented, where it derogates, by the Financial Regulation of Fusion for Energy adopted by the Governing Board on 10 December 2019.

3) In case of new contract(s) consisting of a repetition of similar works or services entrusted to the economic operator to which fusion or energy awarded the original contract, fusion for energy may use the negotiated procedure in accordance with Article 164 of the General Financial Regulation and point 11 of its Annex I (NB: the negotiated procedure shall only be used during the performance of the original contract and at the latest during the 3 years following its conclusion in accordance with point 11.4 of Annex I to GFR).
