The Local Authority is mandated to deliver sexual health service for those present in the city which can provide contraception services and screen and treat sexually transmitted infections such as Chlamydia and Syphilis. This will be through a single contract for sexual health promotion targeting health inequalities across the life course with a maximum contract value of 500 000 GBP per annum, and the remaining budget allocation of 2 350 000 GBP per annum to

Procure clinical provision which will include a specialist clinic, GP provision, Pharmacy provision, and out of area cross charging activity. The costs being met through the agreed budget provision outlined in the Council’s budget for 2018/19 (annual budget for sexual health of 2.85 million GBP).
