Fusion21 Workplace and Facilities Framework — Market Engagement Opportunity
Fusion21 is developing a new workplace and facilities framework, the draft lot structure is included in this notice. This PIN Notice is being used to engage with the market to support Fusion21 in shaping the new framework, ensuring it is fit for the marketplace for the next 4 years.
Fusion21 have created 7 separate short Survey questionnaires (one for each service area), suppliers are asked to complete the questionnaires most relevant to the services they provide.

The scope of this lot may include total facilities management, bundled/managed FM packages that include any of the following services in any combination: cleaning, waste management, security, reception, post room, portage, M&E, lifecycle works, grounds maintenance, catering, pest control, energy management, health and safety management, administrative support services.

Cleaning and Washroom Services
The scope of this lot may include commercial cleaning, daily, reactive and periodic cleaning, window cleaning, deep cleaning, student accommodation summer turnaround cleaning, residential communal/estate cleaning, sanitary disposal, air fresheners, dust control mats, soap dispensers, hand dryers, toilet roll dispensers, cleaning materials, cleaning equipment.

The anticipated value of this lot is GBP 250 000 000.
The scope of this lot may include total waste management, chemical and radioactive waste chemical and pharmaceutical waste,
Confidential waste, WEEE, food and oil waste services, food waste and oil recycling collection and disposal service, domestic type waste, medical waste, recycling collection and disposal services (prevention, preparing for reuse, recycling, recovery and disposal).

The anticipated value of this lot is GBP 50 000 000.
The scope of this lot may include water coolers, free standing hot and cold beverage machines, counter top hot and cold beverage machines, machines that dispense carbonates, bottled and canned drinks, machines that dispense confectionery and snacks, machines that dispense a combination of snacks and chilled drinks and machines that dispense food.

The scope of this lot may include static and mobile patrols, dog patrols, escort duties, visitor assistance, event stewarding and crowd control service, car park and traffic management, CCTV monitoring/alarm receiving centres, lone worker monitoring, fire exit monitoring, identification badge management, key holding and alarm response, lost property, and investigations and reporting.

The Fusion21 Members Consortium is an association formed by bodies governed by public law. A copy of the terms of membership and a list of members are available on our website (see section I.1).
Fusion21 is looking to engage with suppliers that can deliver the nature of works outlined in each lot. The final lot structure within the contract notice will include a more detailed scope of works.
The purpose of this exercise is to engage with the market so that suppliers have the opportunity to assist in shaping the framework in a way that reflects what the market can deliver for Fusion21 Members. The lot structure outlined in this PIN Notice is not a firm commitment and is subject to change, therefore at this stage suppliers would not be expected to provide the scope of all services listed within each of the descriptions.
Interested parties should note that, whilst this PIN Notice indicates the development of a framework agreement, some parts of the service may result in the development of a Dynamic Purchasing System instead of a framework agreement, but this will be determined through this early market engagement activity.
